3-1 yesterday which pretty much means a bad day today…

I posted my play yesterday, the –2.5, but I’m actually on the –150 ML, just so you know. I could probably write 4 pages on this spot. But I won’t. I could mention the fact that Drake’s been slow outta the gates in just about every valley game this year (they only led one time at Wichita). Or I could mention the fact that Drake’s got a 3 game lead and in cruise control w/ the conference basically wrapped up (only tough contest at SIU end of the month). Could also mention that this will be Drake’s second toughest game of the year this year (St. Mary’s 1st game = loss) Could mention that Bracket Buster matchups were announced yesterday and Drake drew Butler, but that obviously isn’t a lookahead at all end of the month coming from a team who just drew similar credibility as did Butler when it cracked the top 20 and has stayed their since. I could mention the numerous quotes I had read about a month back when ISU visited Drake and players were sick of the trash talking that Drake did in that game. I could mention the midget’s (Boo Richardson) quote “They did a lot of trash talking, so we’re ready to play.” I could mention the fact that ISU straight controlled that game for 35 minutes. I could mention the fact that Drake’s travel plans whenever they showed up or will show up caused some havoc on practicing and/or arriving b/c of fog/snow/rain. I could mention this is the highest ranked opponent that has ever visited Redbird arena or perhaps the fact that it’s gonna be sold out shortly for the first time in years (Bradley on Saturday is already sold out for those wondering). I could mention ISU’s lackluster effort since the loss at Drake and Bradley. Conference hopes were probably gone, so you expected the letdown in short wins over Indiana State and Missouri State, combined with the loss at Northern Iowa. I could mention ISU’s home record, or perhaps the revenge angle but simply put, I’m not gonna mention any of that.
