Shortest session ever

I read the earlier thread about when to quit and the other night this happened to me. I had just logged on to Full Tilt and sat down at a .50/1 table. I bought in for the max of $100. First hand I'm dealt is QQ. The flop comes QJ6 rainbow. One player goes in enough to put me all in if I call. I call with my set, she has a set of jacks. I win $100 on my first hand and then go to sleep.

There is nothing wrong with quiting after doubling in one hand. But, I always would have in the back of my mind that I left money on the table. Or, I missed out on what coulda been a massive rush? I guess it's the degenerate gambler in me.

It's a twoheaded dog. If you lose a big pot, or give some of your cheese back. You tend to think, well ~ I should have quit when I was ahead.

Agreed, nice one and can understand the walking away. Had it in the back of my throat after losing many a time.

Not had time to play much recently, but gotta say that I would have stayed and judged how the table then was due to my sudden double or left and re-joined another table. Once sitting down to play I just can't see myself walking away after one hand regardless of out come.
