Default Making money clearing bonuses. TO profitable.

The new bill has been a good thing for bonus whoring poker rooms and making a lot of money. Because the US has locked out some major poker rooms THese soft players from Party, paradise, and the poker network have now gone to other poker rooms online that offer great initial and reload bonuses. If you are even an average poker player and are not playing poker online while clearing bonuses, you are missing out on some of the easiest money on the web. Below is an example and how things average out.

I am still clearing bonuses always while playing poker. I play 2-3 tables at a time while clearing bonuses which amounts to average 25.00 an hour.(Most sites you need to play 100 raked hands to clear 10.00 in bonus money. If I play 2-3 tables I can play 250 raked hands an hour) With all the reloads and poker sites online too it makes it impossible to not have a poker room to be playing with a bonus.

Also, now that we have poker savvy you can get extra money on top of the bonus money which makes you even extra money. Any one who is not taking advantage of pokersavvy that plays poker is just pissing money away.

Last year I averaged making 15,000 per month playing poker. From bonuses alone I made 4000 of that was from clearing bonuses alone. So if I played poker online last year and was not clearing bonuses, Instead of making just under 200,000 playing poker last year I would have made 48,000 less. I hope that shows you how important it is to play poker with bonuses.

IF you can only handle playing 1 table at a time, you will still be making 7.00-10.00 per hour clearing bonuses if you are playing at a 6 person table max.

Now If I would have known about poker savvy last year, I could have added at least another 1000.00 to my bankroll for doing nothing more than clicking through their link and using their bonus code.

I hope this shows people how easy it is to make a lot of extra money playing poker online. If people want me to put a list of the poker rooms to play in what order to maximize profit, let me know. But start a thread.

thanks kid.

the hardest part i find is to not lose the bonus money. heh. i usually build up my bankroll and double up on my deposit.. but then i decide to still play at that site and end up losing my money while trying to bust out the bonus.

i realize it is usually my style of play and i often bring it on myself.. but pokersavvy is going to be great at making poker even more profitable.

thanks for putting so much time into this.. i'm sure if i stick with it and follow your advice i will be making plenty of money off the poker tables.

If you are doing well early but then seem to lose money while tryign to still clear the bonus. I would look at the reason why this is. Still to this day, I take notes after every session of poker I play. Any big mistakes I made, plays I made, was I being aggressive and winning, was I just playing the nuts and winning or losing, etc.

THe main thing that happens to people when they are winning or losing, is that they change their game. They either think, I am up, I can make this call because even if i lose, I am still ahead for the day. Or they will think, I am down, I need to get this big pot to get back to even. this thinking kill you. YOu should never be thinking about how much you are down or up in a session, this isnt a tournament when you need to manage your stack, this is a cash game. You should always be thinking about the moment, and how the hand was played out, and what your oppenent could be holding. If you start thinking about anything else but that, you are running uphill and huring yourself.

i often do the 'i am down on the day' or vice versa.. but instead.. it works better for me.. i think 'im down.. i need to play smarter and tighter' but i also see where you are coming from because when i am up.. i keep making money.

i just started to force myself to take notes last week.. so hopefully that will help my game.

thanks again.

it will help, it more than anything makes you think more about your play and how you really did. ANd it helps you from making the same mistakes again.

Wow Kid thats some amazing stats (I'd be happy even making 1/4 of that)!!! Just curious what games do you play (limits, tourneys etc) and is there any one poker room you normally play at? Or are you constantly jumping around? Thanks.

I am always jumping around. right nowt though I am playing at bodog only. ONly because I can withdrawl and deposit the next day and get the 10% reload. I dep. 1000 at a time or more and then play only heads up tournies there or multi table tournies. ONce I clear the the rollover for the bonus I withdralwl then deposit again. At the heads up tournies I play 50.00 or 100.00 and if I have a 100.00 bonus It takes about 40 heads up tournies to meet the rollover.

If your not playing while clearing a bonus, you are costing yourself money. I have said it a million times but it is so true. There is too many good poker rooms out there with soft players and bonuses and reloads to not be playing with bonuses always.

FOr example, absolute poker has reloads twice a week usually. If you played 2/4 limit at absolute poker, played 2 tables at a time, and broke even with your playing skills, you would make close to 35,000 on clearing bonuses alone if you played 35-40 hours a week. I know this for a fact. I have two friends that hated their job and are not even that good of poker players. But I signed them up at absolute poker and they played 2/4 limit 30-40 hours a week. THey both made close to 40,000. on the year. ANd I know they are not that good of players. But they were always clearing bonuses and just stuck to a poker strategy I layed out for them.
