Do you think fighting serves a purpose or should it be eliminated from the game?

Its the only way for the team to protect their starts from getting cheap shot or for someone to blindside a superstar and end their career. Fighting puts the thought into players that they may have to pay a price for what they do.-Floyd.

Its needed for: PROTECTION. To protect the goalies,superstars and each others teammates.

Had a point to this when I posted it but can't remember what it was now. O' well, I agree that it is needed for reasons stated above and a few others.
