Since I have created this forum I should start out with an introduction myself.
I am 28 years old and have had an interested in online gambling for many years. I live in Sweden – and yes the women are great!

Although I am dating a Danish girl at the moment Swedish girls are really gorgeous.
Anyway – back to the gambling aspect…I started playing online casinos around the year of 2000. I was a student back then, and the bonus casinos offered at that time were extreme. I made deposits and wagered for a bit before I made a withdrawal.
Playing like this I was able to make a few dollars and enjoyed gambling as well. Blackjack and Video Poker were my favorite games.
I made my first gambling website around 2000 with the help from a friend…we spend a lot of time building a casino bonus site with loads of information without getting visitors to our sites – this is when I got interested in online marketing and search engine optimization.
Around 2002-2003 I went to Australia to study for 6 months, and pretty much forgot about gambling for about a year. My friends back home started to talk about the poker boom, but I was to busy enjoying life and travelling.
When I returned from Australia I decided to give online poker a go – I deposited 400 dollars on pacific poker and received a $100 bonus. I have never made a deposit since…
I played fixed limit 0,25/0,5 and 0,5/1 for about 2 months while reading Lee Jones famous book. I slowly learned how the game was played, and started to make a profit. It was a hobby while I was still studying until I started playing shorthanded $5/10 (after playing for about 6 months).
I then found out that it was possible to make real money playing online poker, and for the next 6 months I was an online poker professional. I played $10/20-100/200 fixed limit. I preferred shorthanded games – if possible heads up.
While I played poker I also spend a lot of time reading up on online marketing and search engine optimization. I build a couple of large poker sites with a friend, and this time I did make some money on it – not a lot, but some.
After about one year with online poker I experienced some downswings, and started to think about what I really wanted to do.

There was no doubt that I would still play poker for a living, but this was not what I really wanted to do. I finished the last exam and got my university degree. Then I took a job and have been working in “real life” ever since – and love every bit of it.
I did however miss running my own websites and started to look for a site to buy. I stumbled upon The Edge - I liked it alot. The atmosphere was good, and I didn’t see a lot of fights going on.
I bought the site – and my ambition is to build one of the best and largest gambling forums on the web. I love gambling, and enjoy spending time with other people who have the same interest. I still enjoy a good game of poker and wager regularly on online casinos..
I must admit however, that my knowledge of sports betting is limited – BUT I am that fortunate, that the moderators on this board are extremely experienced within this area
I hope this post can be inspiration for new members to join in and say “hi” in this introduction forum. Don’t worry – we won’t bite you
